Kenyans in Ireland on Saturday attended a reception hosted the newly opened Embassy in Dublin to mark the county's 44th National Day.Kenya Flag

The event was held at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) hotel on Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin,  which is located a short distance away from the offices of the Kenyan Embassy.

A number of statements were made by various representatives of Kenyan communities living in Ireland. These were complimented by a statement by the newly appointed Kenya's Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland, H.E. Ms Catherine Muigai Mwangi, who also took time to respond to the issues raised by the representatives.
